Stella Syrianos

Bilingual lawyer and seasoned trademark agent, Styliani (Stella) Syrianos practises intellectual property law within the Trademarks group at BCF. She advises on, manages and enhances trademark portfolios at both the domestic and international levels, serving a diverse clientele across a wide range of industries.

Stella supports clients of all sizes at every stage of a trademark’s lifecycle, from availability assessments and risk evaluation to filing strategies and settlement negotiations. She also oversees the full management of opposition and expungement proceedings before the Trademarks Opposition Board, including advocacy, having previously served as a Member of the Board herself.

She also advises clients on regulatory matters related to packaging, labelling and advertising, including compliance with the Charter of the French Language.

Recognized for her rigour, strong communication skills, and keen attention to detail, Stella has achieved numerous successful outcomes for her clients before the Trademarks Opposition Board. She is also actively involved as a speaker, an instructor in advanced professional programs, and an author in leading publications in the field.
