Martin Houle

Martin Houle has been a member of the Chambre des notaires du Québec since 2000 and joined BCF in July 2026 as a notary in the Real Estate and Corporate Finance Group. Based in the Québec City office, he advises clients on commercial real estate transactions and financing matters, including the registration of hypothecary securities, as well as the acquisition and sale of real property.

With over 25 years of experience, Martin has developed a practice focused on supporting businesses, investors, lenders, and public-sector organizations in a wide range of real estate and financing mandates. His professional background includes both private practice and positions with major municipalities, providing him with a broad perspective on complex transactions.
Recognized for his rigour, attention to detail, and pragmatic approach, Martin is committed to delivering thorough and effective legal support tailored to his clients’ needs.

Martin completed his legal education at Université Laval, where he also served as a lecturer.
