Jyoti Chakraborty provides strategic, integrated legal support at the intersection of commercial law and intellectual property, with a particular focus on innovation-driven enterprises and high-value transactions. Admitted to both the Barreau du Québec and the Law Society of Ontario, and trained in both civil and common law traditions, she offers a cross-jurisdictional approach that enables seamless legal support across Quebec, other Canadian provinces, and international markets.

Drawing on experience both in-house and in private practice, Jyoti Chakraborty brings a nuanced understanding of business realities and a pragmatic, results-driven approach to legal problem-solving. Her practice spans the full lifecycle of innovation, from product or service conception to commercialization, and includes drafting and negotiating research agreements, joint ventures, proof-of-concept service agreements, consultant contracts, and complex commercial contracts. 

Jyoti also provides intellectual property and technology-related support in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions (on both the buy and sell sides), advises on intellectual property (IP) licensing and commercialization strategies, venture capital and financing deals, regulatory compliance, and strategic collaborations between public and private institutions. Her expertise further extends to guiding clients through government procurement processes and request-for-proposal (RFP) strategies.
