Alexis Bourdeau is an attorney in BCF’s business law group in Montréal. His practice focuses primarily on banking law and corporate finance, while also integrating a real estate law component.
In the area of financing, Alexis advises financial institutions, private lenders, and corporate borrowers on a variety of transactions, including acquisition financing, asset-based financing, and real estate financing. He assists with structuring transactions, preparing and negotiating financing documentation, and coordinating the various steps leading to their completion.
He also works, on a complementary basis, on real estate law matters, particularly in connection with the acquisition, disposition, and financing of real estate, as well as in setting up certain real estate partnership structures. Recognized for his rigor and pragmatic approach, Alexis contributes to the efficient management of files by paying close attention to the legal and commercial aspects specific to each mandate.
Before joining this practice group, Alexis practiced in BCF’s business immigration department, where he assisted corporate clients in complex regulatory contexts. This experience now enables him to approach his files with a concrete understanding of his clients’ business considerations and operational imperatives.
