Environmental Law

Our role

Move your projects forward and protect your rights in the face of constantly changing environmental regulations.

  • A Strategic Perspective

Increased regulatory pressure, ever-changing environmental requirements, and projects subject to arduous authorization processes: Nowadays, you must navigate an increasingly demanding framework. Under these circumstances, even the slightest delay, a request for additional information, or a compliance requirement can have a significant impact on your operations. So when a dispute arises, every decision can have significant repercussions for your business.

In this context, you need to be able to rely on a team that can fully understand the authorities’ expectations, implement concrete strategies to ensure the security of your operations, and act quickly to adapt your procedures and help make your project a reality.

  • Agile Expertise

Whether the issue involves regulatory compliance, due diligence during a transaction, contaminated sites, wetlands, air emissions, or complex authorization processes, we tailor our approach to your company’s constraints and priorities.

BCF’s lawyers advise you not only on obtaining authorizations and complying with regulatory requirements, but also on staying on track during litigation when situations become more complex. Environmental impact assessments, permit acquisition, access to information, protection of sensitive documents, management of contaminated land and soil, waste or hazardous materials, flood zones, or endangered species: we’re there for you when the risks are real and the room to manoeuvre is limited.

Even when deadlines tighten or discussions become more sensitive, we take the time to guide interactions with the authorities and find practical solutions that allow your projects to move forward.
