Environmental Litigation

Our role

Defend your interests in an environmental dispute.

  • A strategic perspective

Authorization denials, construction in natural environments, soil contamination, hazardous emissions, neighbourhood disputes, waste management, contesting decisions: When it comes to concerns about compliance with environmental laws, our team’s expertise and versatility are dedicated to protecting and upholding your rights in disputes with government authorities and third parties.

  • An agile expertise

Environmental laws and regulations, a complex and constantly evolving field spanning multiple jurisdictions, can hinder a project’s development, exposing even the most diligent companies to legal risks.

When an environmental dispute arises, our lawyers draw on their in-depth knowledge of government requirements and processes to ensure your business operations are protected. We defend your interests by providing you with confident guidance throughout the process, whether it involves representing you before the Tribunal administratif du QuĂ©bec or challenging a decision by filing an appeal for judicial review with the Superior Court.

Drawing on our extensive experience working with a diverse range of industrial clients, BCF assists real estate developers facing environmental liability issues through every stage of the process until the dispute is resolved.
