Melissa D’Errico Provencher mainly practises in the field of banking law and financing. More specifically, she negotiates, drafts, and sets up bank security and revises loan documents within the framework of various transactions and commercial operations. Melissa also practises business, commercial, and corporate law.
Melissa is a graduate of the Université de Montréal Faculty of Law. During her studies, she was involved in a number of committees. Namely, she was the President of the Canadian Lawyers Abroad Committee, and served as project manager for the Pro Bono Students Canada network.
Melissa became a member of the Barreau du Québec in 2016. She joined BCF in 2017 after completing her articling requirements for the Bar at a major Canadian financial institution. She also acquired considerable experience in financing law during her time at a Montreal firm.
