Université Laval (1982) Common Law, Dalhousie University, Halifax (1981) FIELDS OF PRACTICE ECONOMIC SECTORS BIOGRAPHY Serge LeBel has more than twenty years of experience in the practice of law, mainly in the fields of commercial litigation, construction, insurance, real estate, banking and insolvency. He has also developed an expertise in business law for a diversified clientele that he guides and advises in a vast range of operations. He is a member of the board of the Société des Loteries du Québec and president of its Corporate Governance committee. He is also a member of the board of the Quebec Port Authority and a member of its audit committee. He is also a member of the board of BCF LLP and a member of consulting committees of various clients. He is actually engage in the completion with the Collège des administrateurs de société of a certification program for directors of companies. A community player, he is a board member of the Fondation de la Maison de l'Harmonie, the principal sponsor of transition house for addicted people. He is an active member of the Lions Club since 1988 and is currently affiliated with Club Lions Sillery-Ste-Foy-Québec and member of its board of directors. He also sits at the Governor's board as President of the Statute and regulations committee for the District U-2. |
