Corporate Governance Can Be Good for Business

Governance, as defined by author Gérard Charreau, is “all the organizational mechanisms that define the powers of executives and influence their decisions; in other words, mechanisms that ‘govern’ their conduct and define their discretionary freedom”. Although awareness of this concept has increased over the past few years, the same cannot be said about its popularity, especially among entrepreneurs in the private sector.
