CIT/ABC Acquires the Assets of LAB Research Inc.
May 18th, 2011Applied Biology Company, parent company of CIT Safety & Health Research Company, a leading preclinical of CRO in Europe announced April 27 the acquisition of substantially all assets of LAB Research Inc. including its three facilities in Canada, Denmark and Hungary. Through this acquisition, the new CIT-LAB is one of the five largest global preclinical CRO with a consolidated turnover of 103 million dollars (74 million) and 830 employees in five centers in France (Evreux and Saint -Nazaire), Canada (Laval), Denmark (Lille Skensved) and Hungary (Veszprém). A team composed of Mario Charpentier, Bertrand Giroux, Pascal de Guise, Brigitte Nepveu, Geneviève Martin, Nancy Boyle, Patrick Glaude, Nicolas Dallaire, Nathalie Gonthier, Odette Nadon and Frédéric Dionne acted as counsel for Applied Biology Company.
