Two New Partners at BCF
January 18th, 2012BCF announces that Sandra Beauchesne and Simon Pelletier joined the partnership on January 1st, 2012. Both are based in the Montreal office.
Since 1994, Sandra Beauchesne has practiced in the field of intellectual property, and more specifically in patents. For more than 10 years, Ms. Beauchesne worked in a multinational telecommunications company where she implemented a patent process, built and trained a patent group responsible for evaluating and protecting inventions, and managed a major patent portfolio used in licensing and litigation. Ms. Beauchesne handles mostly inventions in the following technologies: telecommunications, software, optics, medical apparatuses, electronics, electricity, and mechanics.
Simon Pelletier, a lawyer and an engineer, practices in litigation. He specializes in complex and technical matters often requiring intervention by experts. He mainly focuses his practice on the fields of construction law, patents and third party liability. He also has experience in environmental law and administrative law. He specializes in complex and technical matters often requiring intervention by experts. He represents work providers and general contractors, as well as specialized manufacturing businesses, and high-tech companies. Mr. Pelletier worked as engineer for multinational companies in aerospace domain, material and metallurgy. He also has a master’s in administrative and constitutional law.
