Metro partners with Adoni

A number of media outlets have announced that the supermarket chain Metro is catering towards its clientele from ethnic communities by partnering with Marché Adonis, a Mediterranean food retailer based in Montreal. The largest Quebec-based food retailer has invested millions of dollars in the ethnic food market. Metro has confirmed the purchase of the majority (55%) of the capital of the supermarket chain Marché Adonis in the region of Montreal and of its distributor-importer, Phoenicia Products. The team which worked on this transaction included André Morrissette, Julie Doré, François Giroux, Geneviève Martin, Martin Sills, David Waddell et Pierre-Philippe Taché.
