Professional background

Vikki Andrighetti is a member of BCF's Commercial Litigation and Alternative Dispute Resolution strategic teams. She has advised and represented clients in a range of civil and commercial matters, including in the energy, tourism, construction, manufacturing and distribution sectors. Ms. Andrighetti has appeared before the trial and appellate courts of Quebec and before various domestic and international arbitral tribunals.

• Participated in the appeal to the Supreme Court on behalf of American Mobile Satellite Corporation (Motient) on question of international jurisdiction of Quebec courts over foreign defendants.
• Participated in the successful defence of a luxury automobile manufacturer in an action relating to the termination of automobile dealership agreements in Quebec and under Ontario Law.
• Participated in the successful defence of Blockbuster Canada against a class action instituted on behalf of all Quebec consumers who paid extended viewing fees.
