Mélanie Sauriol is a partner at the Montreal office. She practices as a member of our Labour and Employment Law team. She also has a great deal of experience in health care law, which allows her to advise various organizations that work in these areas on administrative issues. As part of her practice, she works on cases pertaining to labour law, grievance arbitration, labour standards, the protection of personal information, and human rights. Ms. Sauriol also has expertise in non-competition and non-solicitation clauses, and represents employers at the federal and provincial levels.

Ms. Sauriol has a great deal of experience in litigation. As part of her practice, she is regularly called to appear before the courts. Namely, she has appeared before various administrative tribunals, the Tribunal administratif du travail (TAT), the Commission d’accès à l’information, the Tribunal administratif du Québec, the Court of Quebec, the Superior Court, and the Court of Appeal.

Ms. Sauriol first started practicing in 2004 for a national firm. She earned a Bachelor of Business Administration before starting her legal studies at Université de Montréal where she did particularly well, earning several bursaries and a number of excellence awards.

She practices in both French and English.
