Marie-Christine Gagnon is a member of the Innu Pessamit Band. She specializes in Aboriginal Law.
Ms. Gagnon is particularly experienced in the negotiation of impact and benefit agreements in connection with the exploitation of natural resources on First Nations’ land, consultation and accommodation matters, and negotiation of particular, global and territorial claims with respect to First Nations’ interests. She advises band councils and aboriginal organizations in various cases. She also assists aboriginal businesses in their incorporation and organization issues.
Ms. Gagnon is a member of BCF’s Natural Resources and Aboriginal Law strategic teams.
