Ms. Therrien has extensive business law experience as a notary, handling financings, the purchase and sale of commercial, industrial and multi-residential properties, and drafting and negotiating agreements and contracts. Her clientele consists primarily of institutions, developers and entrepreneurs.
Additionally, she drafts wills, inter-vivos trusts and protection mandates, and settles estates.
Ms. Therrien is very involved in her community. She frequently gives courses on the importance of estate planning and on the structuring of agreements between married couples or common law spouses. She is also an accredited family mediator and advises families that are in the process of separating.
Ms. Therrien assists families to obtain court approval of protection mandates when a close relative becomes incapacitated. She also advises legal representatives who are administering the property of an incapacitated person.
