In his practice, Mtre Perron-Piché has prepared numerous patent applications in various areas of technology for local and foreign clients and has also provided those clients with freedom-to-operate and patentability opinions. His particular expertise lies in the protection and commercialization of technologies developed in the fields of materials, mechanical and chemical engineering.
Mtre Perron-Piché graduated in 2010 from the École Polytechnique de Montréal in materials engineering. He also has a civil law degree, a Juris Doctor (common law) and a master's in law from the Université de Montréal. During his academic career, he was awarded numerous merit scholarships.
In 2014 he was awarded the Cahiers de Propriété Intellectuelle Prize by the International Literary and Artistic Association for the best research paper in intellectual property law. He has been a member of both the Barreau du Québec and the Ordre des Ingénieurs du Québec since 2015.
Before joining our Montréal office, Mtre Perron-Piché practiced at a well-known intellectual property law and patent firm in Montréal.
