Professional background
Julie Loranger has a combined experience in corporate law, family law, estate planning and estate settlements. She advises business owners regarding all matters related to their family affairs (marriage contracts, mandates in the event of incapacity, wills and estate settlements).
Ms. Loranger has special expertise in drafting complex trusts and frequently advises beneficiaries and trustees on their rights and obligations.
She acts as a consultant in litigation files concerning trust law, matrimonial law, estate law and elderly abuse.

- Supervising complex estate settlements (e.g., existence of several trusts, conflicts amongst legatees, assets outside Canada, voluntary disclosure, foreign matrimonial regime).
- Drafting a trust in an estate freeze context taking into consideration the family situation of the entrepreneur, the tax residency of the beneficiaries, potential conflicts, shareholders agreement, the will and the mandate in the event of incapacity.
