Jean-Raymond Castelli practices business law, particularly in the areas of commercial law, business start-ups, mergers and acquisitions, traditional financing, venture capital, and technology transfers. He also practices tax law, in particular tax planning, corporate restructuring and tax litigation.

Mr. Castelli represents small and medium-size businesses and their shareholders, as well as financial institutions, venture capital companies and research enhancement corporations.

Involvement

Mr. Castelli is a member of the board of directors of non-profit organizations.

Mr. Castelli has received the Prix Yvon Gasse for his involvement in Entrepreneuriat Laval, first prize from the Quebec Society of Comparative Law, as well as Stikeman-Carswell scholarship in tax law. He is also a member of the Honour Roll of the Université Laval Faculty of Law.
