Jean-Philippe Leduc is a member of our Business Law group, and focuses his practice on this area. Having earned a Master's degree in taxation, Jean-Philippe also addresses domestic and international tax matters. His combined business and tax knowledge and skills make him an advisor of choice for many businesses, executives and entrepreneurs.
Jean-Philippe regularly participates in mergers and acquisitions, as well as a number of other transactions related to venture capital and general corporate law. He also assists and advises our clients with the tax and legal services needed by their growing businesses.
Over the years, Jean-Philippe has elaborated many complex tax strategies in connection with reorganizations and with estates, both in the planning and settlement phases, as well as mergers and acquisitions.
He is also regularly called upon to make representations before the tax authorities.
Maître Leduc has regularly been asked to give continuing education courses and from 2006 to 2012, he was a lecturer at the Université de Sherbrooke in the Master's Program in Taxation where he gave a course entitled "Interpretation, administration et litige fiscal".
