François Beaudry is a partner working with BCF’s litigation group in Montreal. With his broad experience and specialized expertise, François is an asset to the group, who is known for his strategic thinking and his great capacity for efficient problem-solving.
He acts for clients at every stage of a dispute, beginning with the initial strategic advice and ultimately appearing before Quebec’s lower courts, the Court of Appeal, and the Province’s administrative tribunals.
As a commercial litigator, he primarily handles matters relating to commercial law, contract law — including fraud and misrepresentation — corporate law, competition law and shareholder disputes. He also has extensive experience with extraordinary remedies, such as injunctions and safeguard orders.
In addition, he regularly advises various construction companies, including contractors, developers and owners, in relation to construction and real estate disputes.
He also represents a number of corporations active in various industries, such as technology, real estate and aviation, in connection with issues covering a broad range of activity sectors, including competition and intellectual property.
Having lived for extensive periods on five continents, François is fluent in French, English and Spanish, and has a basic knowledge of Arabic.
