Professional background
Annie Parent is a partner in the Labour and Employment Law Group, her area of practice since the very beginning of her career.
Ms. Parent provides our clients with strategic advice on all aspects of labour and employment law, including occupational health and safety. In addition to providing practical solutions to problems that employers encounter, Ms. Parent has regularly represented their interests before arbitral tribunals, the different administrative tribunals, including the Commission des relations du travail and the Commission des lésions professionnelles, and before the civil courts, particularly in the area of judicial review and court injunctions. Finally, she also acts on behalf of management in collective agreement negotiations.
Over the years, Ms. Parent has developed leading expertise in issues pertaining to psychological harassment, duty to accommodate, the certification process, and employment injuries.
Involvement
- Ms. Parent has sat on the board of directors of the Théâtre du Trident for several years.

- For many years, Annie Parent has offered in-house training sessions and delivered presentations addressing various topics related to management of discipline, psychological harassment, duty to accommodate and employment injuries.
