Professional background

Angela Markakis is a member of BCF’s commercial litigation practice group. She practices civil and commercial litigation and specializes in cases involving shareholder disputes, real estate matters, construction law, injunctive relief and debt recovery. She is also a member of BCF’s Construction Infrastructures and Procurement strategic team.

Ms. Markakis is a graduate of the University of Ottawa, where she completed the National Program and obtained both her civil and common law degrees. Prior to her studies in law, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill University in Political Science and Philosophy.

Ms. Markakis is fluent in French, English and Greek.
