Professional background

Alexis Paquette-Trudeau is a member of our Labour and Employment practice group. He practices chiefly in the areas of labour relations and employment law for private and public sector, both under provincial and federal jurisdiction. Mr. Paquette-Trudeau offers legal advice on all matters related to employment, including employment contracts, employment standards, occupational health and safety, collective agreements, severance pay and disciplinary and administrative actions. He also assists clients in termination matters and advises management on employment issues that arise in the context of mergers and acquisitions.

Before joining the firm, Mr. Paquette-Trudeau obtained a Master’s of Business Administration degree from the Université de Sherbrooke. During his studies, he had the opportunity to act as a substitute teacher for his school and worked as a clerk at the Court of Quebec. He also applied his management skills during his internships with a variety of businesses.
