Université de Montréal (2001) FIELDS OF PRACTICE ECONOMIC SECTORS BIOGRAPHY Marie-Josée Lapointe joined the firm in June 2003 after having worked at two intellectual property boutique firms. She also took part in an international program on intellectual property law given jointly by Oxford University (England), the University of Victoria (Canada) and the University of Illinois (United States). Ms. Lapointe specializes in commercial issues and transactions involving intellectual property, including the negotiating and drafting of license agreements and the preparation and conduct of due diligence of intellectual property assets. Ms. Lapointe is also a trade mark agent. She often works with BCF clients who wish to develop and implement strategies to protect their trade marks. She is also involved in intellectual property-related litigation.
