When it comes to choosing a trade-mark, marketing goals are often confronted with legal considerations.

  • How can the two be reconciled? That is, how do you adopt a catchy trade-mark that is strong from a legal standpoint?
  • How do you promote trade-marks?
  • How do you take a strategic approach that will give you a clear competitive advantage and at the same time limit search costs and the costs of applying your rights?

The training will be given on Wednesday, November 23, 2011 by Johanne Auger, Partner and Trade-Mark Agent at BCF, in charge of the firm’s Trade-Marks Department. The training session is at lunchtime and a meal with thus be served.

The training will be offered from 12 noon to 2 pm at our Quebec City office, Complexe Jules-Dallaire, T1, 2828 Laurier Blvd., 12th Floor.
