BCF Business Law is proud to announce the arrival of a new lawyer, Frédéric Dorion, in its Québec City office. Mr. Dorion will be practising primarily with the team dedicated to business law and bank financing, real estate law, and bankruptcy, insolvency and business restructuring.

“The recruitment of Frédéric Dorion represents an important structural asset for our team. It speaks to BCF’s intention to continue to distinguish itself and to round out its solid portfolio of expertise. His knowledge of the day-to-day corporate reality, acquired in part through his additional studies in industrial relations, as well as his thoroughness and attention to detail, all make Frédéric a major asset for any company wanting to succeed in business,” emphasized Mario Charpentier, the managing partner of BCF.

Over the course of his career, Frédéric Dorion, a member of the Barreau du Québec since 2010, has most notably acted as an advisor to many companies on the development and drafting of commercial contracts, in addition to participating in the negotiation and finalizing of major business deals. He has also been called upon to work on financing transactions in an insolvency context. Additionally, he worked in the legal department of an important maritime corporation in Québec City, thus acquiring expertise in the field of corporate services, as well as in mergers and acquisitions.
